LOCATION: the park is situated in the province of Còlon, 125 kilometers by road from Panama City.

ACCESS: Portobelo can be reached by road from Panama City (the trip takes about two hours) or form the city of Còlon about forty five minutes away

FACILITIES: the park's administrative headquarters are in Nuevo Tonosì. In Portobelo's former Customs House (Casa de Aduanas), bilingual guides can he hired for a tour of the fortifications of this World Heritage Site.
