LOCATION: the park is located along the eastern edge of the Panama Canal in the provinces of panama and Colon, 25 kilometers by road form Panama City.

ACCESS: : Soberania is one of the most easily accessible protected areas as it is just over half an hour from Pamama City. A road leading to the Maddem Dam crosses the park's moist tropical forests.

FACILITIES: administrative headquarters, a visitor center and basic services can be found in Gamboa, In Aguas Claras, there is a control post and a ranger station with basic services, Besides the Oleoducto trail, which is particularly recommended for ornithologists, there are three other nature trails: the Charco Trail, Plantaciones trail and Creces trail. There is a camping site in the protected area.
